Integrated rebar first fix system
Our balconies offer unparalleled stability and security for residents, boasting market-leading minimum deflection rates of just 1/520 (regulation minimum is 1/180 and competitors only offer 1/360).
This is achieved with our one-of-a-kind patented rebar system and overall lightweight construction, which in turn also acts to alleviate pressure on the building.
Reinforcement bars are welded to a spreading face plate, ensuring that forces exerted from stubs are evenly and directly transmitted into the reinforcement, and the edge plate is not subject to bending.
Generally, balconies require the use of three large stubs for support. However, the Eckland system utilises five lightweight stubs, which helps to evenly distribute the balcony load.
The solid fixing plate reduces movement with market leading anti-rotation and anti-torsion properties, when used with the stub system it creates one of the strongest first and second fix systems.

Second fix stubs, lightweight & secure
The 2nd fix stubs are made of lightweight galvanised steel weighing only 7kg each, making them fast and easy to fix. Our stubs have a market leading strength to weight ratio where typically stubs weigh between 25 – 75kg, a considerable weight saving.

However, the Eckland Balcony system utilises five precision stubs, which helps to evenly distribute the weight and alleviate stress on the building. As stubs are fixed to the patented spreader bar, this ensures the balcony perfectly aligns at point of installation, reducing tedious adjustment issues.
